Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was just a child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows following her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by her fellow actors for Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk announced to the fans the good announcement that she became pregnant while filming season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase during an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of production. CNN named Bo's portrayal along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
