Srushti has begun preparing for her UPSC exam in her third-year of studying engineering. During her graduation, she questioned whether she would be content with her engineering job. Her goal became apparent as she focused more on the civil service. Her parents encouraged her to be an official in the civil service and to pursue a job in the public service. She was motivated and focused only on becoming an IAS officer. It takes more effort to be successful at UPSC. She would study her engineering classes and study for UPSC in addition to studying different topics. Exam preparation was conducted every day. She studied for the engineering tests in only one-and-a-half months. She stayed out of social situations. She believes that being focused solely on what needs to be done is the key to passing this test. She wanted to pass this exam in the first try and has put in lots of hard work. Every day, she was reading the paper to stay updated with the current news. Also, she got lots of help online, by accumulating studying materials as well as watching Rajya Sabha TV.
