Emily Mortimer

Emily Mortimer is a British screenwriter and actor. She is renowned for her notable contribution to Hollywood films. A former theater student with an impressive legacy, Mortimer has an unassuming persona. She appeared in 'Mary Poppins Returns', which was the sequel to 1964's iconic musical 'Mary Poppins' that was a classic. The film was an achievement for Mortimer. Mortimer was a quirky French assistant for the Pink Panther films as well as a shrewd and ambitious news reporter on "The Newsroom". Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born in Hammersmith on the 1st of December, 1971 to the famous lawyer and barrister Sir John Mortimer, and Penelope Gollop she had the honor of being the mother of Penelope Gollop and a well-known writer. Emily is a plethora of siblings. Her father has a prior relationship with Penelope Fletcher, who was her half-sister. She has a younger sister with the name Rosie. There is also a half-brother called Ross Bentley, from her father's romance with actor Wendy Craig. Mortimer was a student at 'St. Paul's Girls' School which is located in London. Following her graduation of Oxford University in 1994 where she was a student of English at Lincoln College and Russian, she was enrolled in the Moscow Arts Theatre Drama School to pursue a degree in acting.
